The comfortably furnished Duncan Bay Boat Club clubhouse is a
elegant log structure crafted from native Northern White Cedar.

When the weather turns foul, a large stone fireplace offers a snug spot to remove the
chill. Private bathroom suites are self contained, each with a shower, sink and toilet.

Outside the clubhouse, an expansive patio and heated
pool are available for those hot summer days.

A playground is available where the younger crew.

The marina has convenient picnic areas with tables and gas grills. For nighttime
campfires, there is a fire-pit on the sandy shore of Duncan Bay.Laundry facilities
are available in the clubhouse and ice is available from the harbormaster.

Boaters can share stories around the campfire on the beach.

Outside the marina, Duncan Bay provides protection from most winds and has a good sand bottom for holding. Avoid the shallow water on the west side of the bay.

Cheboygan State Park occupies 932 acres on the east half of Duncan Bay. A short dingy ride offers boaters one of the nicest sand beaches anywhere. In addition to a marked swimming area, there is plenty of shoreline for a scenic walk along the water. The park has a campground with 78 campsites.

Docks

Built in 1989, Duncan Bay Boat Club has 263 slips with large fairways. The slips are three sizes, 40' x 17', 60' x 20' and 80' x 17'. The docks are from "Flotation Dock System." The main pier is 12' wide, with secondary docks 8' wide, and finger piers 4' wide. All slips have 110 or 220 volt power, cable-tv, telephone and fresh water for drinking and wash down.A portable pump-out provides service directly to each slip and a self-serve pump-out facility is available along the south side of the entrance channel.The harbormaster's office is in a tower at the end of the main dock. The nearest services are a mile from the marina in the Cheboygan Mall. K-Mart is among the businesses located there. By land and water, the town of Cheboygan is roughly 2 miles away. Gasoline and diesel fuel are available at the Cheboygan County Marina located in the mouth of the Cheboygan River. A 70-ton Travel Lift , hospital, ambulance, medical and dental service, 5-screen movie theater, and most other retail and business services are available in Cheboygan. Air freight, air express, and airline passenger service are available at the Pellston Regional Airport 20 miles west of the city. Convenient service to and from the airport is available by taxi and limousine. Charter service is available at the Cheboygan airport. Hack-Ma-Tack Inn, Mulligan's and The Rusty Anchor will transport boaters to dinner. Taxi service is available and several companies provide rental cars. A couple of the companies will drop off and pick up rental cars at the marina. The harbormaster can provide area menus and the latest transportation information.
