BY LAND
From Rogers City - North on US 23, turn right on Eastern Ave. to Harrison. Turn right on Harrision to Marina Drive. Left on Marina Drive to the Boat Club.From Cheboygan - South on US 23, past Kmart on the left and turn left on Eastern Ave. to Harrison. Turn right on Harrision to Marina Drive. Left on Marina Drive to the Boat Club. BY SEA From the east, stay about one mile offshore between Cordwood Point and Cheboygan Point. A shoal extends 0.8 mile NE from Cheboygan Point. Pass north of Fourteen Foot Shoal Light and head toward Cheboygan River buoy R "2". Since a sand shoal projects out 0.6 mile NW from Cheboygan Point, it is wiser to approach buoy "2" before altering course into the bay.From the west, pass close to Cheboygan River buoy R "2". Note: When approaching from Cheboygan, do not leave the channel early. Water east of the channel is foul with large rocks and deadheads. From Cheboygan River buoy R "2", follow a course of 125° T into the center of the bay. Note: The west side of the bay contains pilings and slabs from former lumber docks. Duncan Bay Boat Club entrance buoys will be on the starboard side. To enter the marina, change course toward the entrance buoys when they are directly south.
ENTRANCE
Lighted buoys R "2" and G "1" mark the channel entrance into Duncan Bay Boat Club. Time your passage to avoid outbound boats. Follow the red and green buoys into the marina. A red triangular daymark is on the end of the 300' breakwater and a square green daymark is on the end of the pump-out facility. Radio the harbor master on channel 16 for docking information and assistance.
